| Eligibility Criteria |
This scholarship was established by Mr. Salsburg (B.A., Religion, 1976) before his death to encourage academic excellence. Available to junior and senior Honors Program students who have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA, are in good standing, and are working toward graduation as University Honors Scholars (visit University Honors Program Student Handbook); the selection committee seeks to reward the applicant who best exemplifies Frank Salsburg's combination of academic excellence, strong vocational goals, and a record of service to campus and community |

In their essays, applicants should address their academic, personal, and vocational goals in relation to their participation in the Honors Program; the essay should also include a discussion of possible senior honors projects. |
