The award-winning Department of Theatre, Dance, and Motion Pictures is devoted exclusively to the training and education of undergraduates in the areas of dance, motion pictures, and theatre. Bachelor of Arts degrees are offered in motion picture history, theory and criticism, and theatre studies. The professional Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is offered in dance; motion picture production; acting; acting musical theatre; and design, technology, and stage management.
- Admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs in dance, motion picture production, acting and acting musical theatre is highly selective. Students should consult with Victoria Oleen in the Department of Theatre, Dance, and Motion Pictures at (937) 775-3072 for degree specifics and entrance requirements. Early inquiry is encouraged. Auditions may be required.
- Continuation for students in all of the theatre arts degrees is based on peer and faculty reviews at the end of each year of study.
