Presidential Search

The Board of Trustees has begun a search for the seventh president of Wright State University and encourages expressions of interest for this leadership opportunity. The search begins following nine years of service by Dr. David R. Hopkins, who has announced his resignation effective June 30th, 2017. The university will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017. The next president has the opportunity to lead Wright State to new levels of institutional achievement and distinction by building on existing strengths and implementing a leadership agenda that will set the course for the next 50 years.

A new president would be expected to accept this assignment on July 1, 2017.
