PARENTS' WEEKEND REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN
5:00–7:30 p.m.
Wright State Student Union – Atrium
Receive your registration packet for the weekend and updated schedule. WSU students may check in for their parents and other guests by showing their WRIGHT 1 Card. Registration will also be available on Saturday, (morning) February 14.

ADDITIONAL ON-CAMPUS ACTIVITIES FOR FRIDAY
Battle of the “Ages”

Wright State Student Union – Atrium
Join us and enjoy all of the recreational amenities at the Student Union! Have a fun filled evening of “friendly competition” between students, parents, faculty and staff. Come and try your skills and compete in a game of billiards, foosball, the rock-climbing wall, table tennis, racquetball and the fitness center, or you can relax and visit with other parents. This year there will be an opportunity to compete in the game called “Name That Tune”! Test your skill in guessing musical tunes from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s! Just come on out for a really great time! Complimentary refreshments will be available.

JUST FOR PARENTS!
10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Join us and gather around to hear presentations from WSU parents and a variety of WSU Administrators to learn about the new and exciting activities in the WSU Parents’ Association and Parents’ Advisory Council, the African American Parent Caucus, the WSU Latinos Unidos Parents’ Association, the Office of Disability Services, Parking and Transportation, University Police, Counseling and Wellness Services, Student Support Services, Student Health, Residence Services and Career Services. You will have an opportunity to ask questions that might “stump our experts”! Additionally, you will have the opportunity to answer questions offered by the presenters and if you answer correctly, you could win a nice WSU surprise! Presenter’s topics will provide you with information that affects parents, residential and commuter students.

Dr. Dan Abrahamowicz, Vice President for Student Affairs, will host this exciting session.

Family Time
12:30–4:30 p.m.

Explore the Wright State University campus with your family. Enjoy lunch or a movie at a restaurant or cinema nearby the WSU campus.

BASKETBALL DOUBLE HEADER
Women's Basketball Game vs. Milwaukee
4:30–6:30 p.m.
Men's Basketball Game vs. Detroit
7:00 p.m.

Join us at the Ervin J. Nutter Center for the Women’s and Men’s Basketball Game Double Header! The Special Athlete Academic Recognition Ceremony will take place during halftime at the men’s basketball game. Visit suite #214-B for complimentary snacks and soft drinks during each game as we cheer the Raiders to victory!
Basketball Ticket Information:
- Basketball tickets are good for both games.
- Parents’ Weekend attendees may purchase tickets for $5.00 each. There is a limited quantity available at this price. Tickets are available for pick-up during registration or after noon at the Nutter Center main ticket office “Will Call” window.
- Students can also claim their 2 complimentary tickets by using their WRIGHT 1 student ID card at the Nutter center Box Office.

MONTE CARLO NIGHT AT THE STUDENT UNION
9:00–11:00 p.m.
Student Union Atrium

Feeling lucky? Have loads of fun with us at the Annual Monte Carlo Night sponsored and hosted by students in the WSU Residential Community Association!

Casino gaming tables with WSU “Fun Money”, plenty of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, great music and an auction of WSU items and gift certificates from area businesses are all included in the festivities. Cost is only $5.00 per person. Students, parents, siblings, and friends are all welcome to attend. WSU students also need to purchase a ticket for this event.

Sunday, February 15

BREAKFAST AND CONVERSATION WITH THE PROVOST
10:00 a.m.
Ervin J. Nutter Center, Berry Room
This event is one of the most highly attended events! Join Steven R. Angle, University Provost for breakfast. Enjoy an all–you–can–eat breakfast buffet and hear it “straight from the top”. This breakfast caps off a lively weekend, where you will also watch with anticipation as the “Parent of the Year” Award is presented. (Maybe the Parent of the Year is You!) The cost of this event is $10.00 per person and WSU students also need to purchase a ticket for the event. All parents who are nominated for the “Parent of the Year” Award will be recognized at the event.
