8 essentials for paying your fees

1. How do you get your bill?

Students (and any authorized user that students enroll) will receive an e-mail notice from the Office of the Bursar. For students, the notice will be sent to their WSU e-mail account. For authorized users, your notice will be sent to the e-mail address that was provided by the student at time of enrollment.

2. For your parents or other family who are involved in this process

You can set up a parent or other person as an authorized user (allows them to view your student account and pay fees) through WINGS. Once in WINGS, click on the WINGS Express icon toward the top of the page. At the main menu for WINGS Express, click on Student and Financial Aid link, then Student Fees, Student Health Insurance, and Student Legal Services and then select a term. After selecting term, click on the link to View Bills and Make a Payment. Once you are in the WINGS Express Student Fees site, click on Authorized Users at the top of the toolbar. Then follow the online instructions provided to enroll the parent, guardian, or any other individual who needs to have access to your account.

3. Student Installment Payment Plan (SIPP)

If you choose to do the SIPP, one-third of fees must be paid along with $30 non-refundable application fee at time of enrollment into the plan. You will have two other pre-determined due dates for the remainder of your fees.

4. Waiver for health insurance and legal services

Only students are able to opt out of Student Legal Services or Student Health Insurance through WINGS Express. Parents and other authorized users are not able to do so.

5. Online payment options

Online payment options include electronic checks, bank cards, and credit cards (MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). A 2.75% convenience fee is assessed to credit card payments.

6. Scholarships or alternative loans

Students receiving scholarships from external organizations (such as the Rotary Club) and those applying for an alternative loan should communicate this information to the Office of Financial Aid at (937) 775-5721 or by e-mail at financialaid@wright.edu at least 60 days prior to the start of the quarter.

7. Financial responsibility

If you register during the early registration period and do not pay your student obligations by the early registration fee payment due date, your class registration will be cancelled.

If you register during the open or late registration periods, your class registration will be maintained, but you will have a $50 late payment fee assessed to your account if payment is not received by the open or late registration fee payment due dates.

Read the Student’s Acknowledgment of Financial Responsibility Policy.

8. Pay your fees by August 20.

You can pay online through WINGS Express, by mail, or in person at the Office of the Bursar Payment Windows on the second floor of the Student Union.
