Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I pay my Orientation fee?

Your Orientation confirmation email contained a personalized, secure link to pay your fee online. Payment is collected online for your convenience. We do accept payment at the door. We will not have change, so please bring exactly $25. Please ensure you are using one of the following browsers to view your personalized payment link:

    • Google Chrome

    • Internet Explorer or Edge
  • What if I am unable to pay my Orientation fee online?

If you cannot pay online, you can pay with a check, cash, or money order made payable to Wright State University. Please include the student’s name, UID number, and reason for payment (i.e. student Orientation fee), on a separate piece of paper so funds can be credited to the appropriate student.

Checks can be mailed to the following address:

Wright State University Office of the Bursar
    3640 Colonel Glenn Highway
    Dayton, Ohio 45435-0001

You can also deliver checks to the payment drop-box located on the second floor of the Student Union. Orientation staff can assist with in-person payments at Orientation. Please have exact change.

  • Is the personalized link that I receive in my email secure?

Wright State’s TouchNet payment gateway is PCI compliant and secure. If using the Safari browser, you might get a message stating that this is not a secure site. This is because your personal computer is not updated with the latest Safari SSL certificate. If you get this message:

    1. Use another browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer or Edge.
    2. Or update your personal computer with the latest Safari browser root certificate.
  • Why can’t I use my financial aid to pay the Orientation fee?

Your Orientation fee does not qualify for financial aid use because it is a fee that occurs prior to your academic enrollment as a Wright State student. The Orientation fee cannot be added to your Bursar account. However, you can pay conveniently online or by check, cash, or money order.
