Freshman Convocation—August 23, 3 p.m.

We invite you and your family to attend this momentous occasion. Think of Convocation as the official moment that you become an active student at Wright State. You will witness the faculty in full academic dress and meet President Hopkins, Interim Provost Sudkamp, deans, and other members of the Wright State family.

Freshman Convocation is a formal assembly of Wright State University’s president, provost, deans, faculty, staff, new students, and parents who convene for the purpose of welcoming, celebrating, and recognizing our newest members of the Wright State University community.

Veteran media personality and TV host, SuChin Pak, joined the MTV News team as a correspondent in May of 2001. Over the years, she’s interviewed everyone from P. Diddy, to Jane’s Addiction to Mary J. Blige, Justin Timberlake, Billy Idol, Britney Spears, and Gwen Stefani. She’s co-hosted the Video Music Awards, the Movie Awards, and Grammy Pre-shows. Pak has been on the red carpet for the Oscars, Golden Globes, and the Sundance Film Festival. She’s also reported for MTV’s Choose or Lose campaign, traveling the country to cover the presidential election and youth voting issues.
