Essentials for placement tests

Do not delay: You will confirm your Fall Quarter classes during Orientation with an academic advisor. Your placement test results must be on file in order to do so. Classes fill on first-come, first-served basis and preferred classes/class times WILL fill. Register as soon as possible to get the schedule you want.
Register for the mathematics placement test: (taken in person at a proctored setting)
Complete the English placement test: (online prompted essay; you will have 72 hours to complete and submit your essay online)
Placement tests for French, German, and Spanish:
Students who have studied a foreign language in high school are encouraged to enroll in the same language at Wright State. To do so, you will need to take a short computerized placement test, lasting approximately 20 minutes. Click on the link above for more information, including a complete list of testing dates and times. Wright State also offers a variety of alternative languages, such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Russian, but placement testing online is not available for these languages. To register for your placement tests, you will need the UID that was included in your letter of acceptance from the Office of Admissions. If you have misplaced your UID, call the CaTS Help Desk at (937) 775-4827.
NOTE: Placement tests are designed to help you get off to the right start. Parents, friends, or others are not permitted to complete these on your behalf.
