It offers both osteopathic (D.O.) and allopathic (M.D.) medicine, employs over 2,000 healthcare professionals and is supported by the largest single base of primary care physicians in the Dayton area. Recently, Grandview began its Nursing Residency Program, a 20 week research based residency program that was developed to ensure that new RNs are able to better transition from Student to Professional RN. This is a program that combines guided clinical experience, a supportive culture, and a mentoring program so that a nurse is able to build on and apply the knowledge learned in school while gaining experience during those weeks of transition.
