Hello, my name is Debi Sampsel and I am the Executive Director of the Nursing Institute of West Central Ohio.  The Nursing Institute is an innovative collaborative effort of health care, education, business, and associations who have come together to resolve the critical health care issue of balancing the supply and demand for registered nurses.

  Our strategic plan calls for the three pronged approach of Research, Professional Practice, and Education.  We have also recently begun to create a Nursing Workforce Research Laboratory that take a futuristic approach to the convergence of technology, environmental design, and protocols.  Merging elements of engineering, architecture, manufacturing, and nursing, we are looking to support the future of nursing care.
