- Applicants may access the Graduate School application at http://www.wright.edu/gradschool/
- All application materials are to be sent to the graduate school with the exception of the checklist below. The checklist is to be sent to Teri Houston at Wright State University, College of Nursing and Health, Room 103 University Hall, 3640 Colonel Glenn Highway, Dayton, Ohio 45435.
- Application deadlines (by priority given) are: January 31, March 31, June1.
- Applicants meeting the criteria for admission will be contacted to arrange an interview in May.
- Applicants will be notified of our decision within two weeks of the interview.

Submit to the School of Graduate Studies:
- The Graduate School application is accessed on-line at www.wright.edu/gradschool Please note that the mailing address is located on the application.**
- $40 fee to the Graduate School
- Transcripts from ALL colleges attended
- Three letters of recommendation (Do not use the recommendation form on the Graduate School page).
- Five page statement of goals related to DNP education to be submitted in a document separate from the application form. The short goals statement on the application form will not suffice.
- Copy of your resume / CV
** Students who have been previously accepted for any degree seeking graduate programs at WSU can waive the $40 application fee if they submit a paper application rather than the on-line application. All on-line applications are charged the fee without exception.
Each of the above items must be received by the Graduate School and forwarded to the College of Nursing before the applicant will be contacted for an interview.
The College of Nursing and Health will check licensure, certifications and COA information following the receipt of application.
Special instructions related to the graduate school application form:
For paper applications, please check admission status as degree; desired degree as DNP; selected program as Doctor of Nursing Practice, and concentration as either Direct Care (for CNS, CNM, CRNA, or NP) or Indirect Care (for administrators).
For on-line applications, select admission status as degree then click on the “Search for Major” button. Select Doctor of Nursing Practice. This will automatically fill in your sections for program and degree selection.
Submit to the College of Nursing and Health:
Please document and return the attached checklist to the College of Nursing and Health with names and dates for requested or submitted items. This will allow us to be aware that your application is in process and we can follow-up on any items that are not received in a timely manner.
