The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Wright State University is four
academic years in length and prepares professional graduates who are eligible to sit
for the Registered Nurse National Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). The program is approved by
the Ohio Board of Nursing and fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate

The baccalaureate degree in nursing prepares students for many diverse and dynamic
career paths in a variety of health care settings. The American Nurses Association,
the National League for Nursing and other nursing organizations strongly support
baccalaureate education as the entry point for professional nursing.
Admission Requirements
The College of Nursing and Health invites students interested
in a challenging profession in health care to submit
an application to the college for spring or summer term
admission. Entry into this competitive program starts
with admission
to Wright State University as a degree seeking student. . Admission to the University does not guarantee admission to the College of Nursing and Health. Admission to the college is a separate process. Pre-admission advising is recommended. Contact the College of Nursing and Health to arrange an advising appointment at 937-775-3132.

WSU-CoNH
For Admission to Wright State University:
- Apply to Wright State University for admission as an undergraduate student.
- Call the Office of Admissions, 937-775-5708 for an application that you can mail in with the $30 one-time admission fee, or
- Apply online from the Wright State University web site: http://www.wright.edu/admissions/undergrad/
- Be sure to indicate dates of attendance at previous colleges and universities as well as schools of nursing on your application
- Request official transcripts to be sent to the Wright State University Office of Admissions from every college or university you have attended.
For Admission to the College of Nursing and Health:
Students are eligible to apply for admission to the nursing program after successful completion of prerequisite courses. All prerequisite courses must be completed with a minimum of a “C” and a minimum grade point average of 2.75.
The CONH has two application deadlines per year for the traditional BSN degree. Applications for fall admission should be submitted to the CONH by May 15th. Applications should be submitted by September 15th for spring admission. Applications received after these dates will reviewed on a space available basis only.
Only students who have a completely clear background check will be accepted into the nursing program; therefore, you will be required to submit a background check before you are admitted to our College.
