DONNA SCHLAGHECK PROMOTED TO
PROFESSOR AT WRIGHT STATE UNIVERSITY

Donna M. Schlagheck, Ph.D., has been promoted to professor of political science at Wright State University. Schlagheck also serves as director of International Studies at Wright State and as director of the WSU National Model United Nations Program. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at the Defense Institute of Security Assistance Management at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Schlagheck earned her bachelor's degree and her doctorate degree in political science from the University of Minnesota. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and serves as president of the Dayton Council on World Affairs. The author of International Terrorism and co-author of the first, second and third editions of Issues in American Political Life, Schlagheck is also the recipient of many awards and honors. In 1991 she was awarded the Alumni Award for Teaching Excellence and was recently honored with the 1997 Trustees Award for Faculty Excellence.
