WRIGHT STATE STAFF MEMBERS
RECOGNIZED FOR EXCELLENCE

Several Wright State University staff members and three university departments have received WSU President's Awards for Excellence. The award winners are:

  • Linda Blatz, faculty secretary in the Wright State University Department of Psychology, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Caring.

  • Roberta Boyd, assistant dean for fiscal affairs in the Wright State University College of Liberal Arts, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Competence.

  • Kelli Zaytoun Byrne, director of the Wright State University Women's Center, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Improving Campus Climate.

  • Barbara Gamstetter, administrative assistant and office manager in the office of the vice president for student affairs and enrollment services at Wright State, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Collaboration.

  • Robert Grant, assistant director of athletics at Wright State University, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Collaboration.

  • Brian Maxwell, associate director of Wright State University's Office of Career Services, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Outstanding Staff.

  • Leanne Moeller, senior secretary in the Wright State University Department of English, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Improving Campus Climate.

  • Emmett Orr, assistant dean for administration, support and financial services in the Wright State University School of Professional Psychology, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence in Service and Leadership.

  • Holly Rabith, purchasing agent in Wright State University's Purchasing Office, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Caring.

  • Gloria Sickles, senior secretary in the Wright State University Department of Mathematics and Statistics, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Competence.

  • Cindy Vanzant, a senior secretary for the Wright State University Women's Center, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence for Outstanding Staff.

  • Yvonne Wyrick, office supervisor for the Wright State University Department of Mathematics and Statistics, has received the WSU President's Award for Excellence in Service and Leadership.

  • Career Services has received the President's Award for Excellence for Improving Campus Climate and Computing and Telecommunications Services (CaTS) and Residence Services have received a joint award as Outstanding Collaborative Units.

    The President's Awards for Excellence were established in 1986 to recognize Wright State staff members who exemplify determination, dedication and hard work. Winners of the award are nominated by their peers.
