NEW MEMBERS APPOINTED TO
WSU BOARD OF TRUSTEES


Governor George V. Voinovich has appointed three Dayton residents to the Wright State University Board of Trustees, effective July 1. They are Gail Littlejohn, senior vice president for Corporate Affairs at Lexis-Nexis; Michael Adams, president, CEO and chairman of the board of Adams Robinson Enterprises; and Jeffrey S. Gardner, a Wright State student.

Littlejohn's term will end June 30, 2007. She replaces Dodie Ditmer, who will complete a nine-year term on the board June 30. Littlejohn earned an M.S. degree from Wright State and a J.D. degree from the University of Dayton. She is a former member of Dayton Arts Ohio and the Dayton Black Cultural Festival, and currently serves on the boards of the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company and the Sinclair Foundation.

Adams was appointed to complete the unexpired term of Frederick W. Schantz, who resigned from the Board of Trustees. Adams' term will end June 30, 1999. He earned a B.S.B. degree in management from Wright State. Adams has served as chairman of the Wright State Foundation Board of Trustees and currently serves on the Wright STEPP Scholarship Advisory Board.

Gardner will be a student member of the Board of Trustees until June 30, 2000. He replaces Student Trustee Lynn Rapp, whose term will end June 30. Gardner is pursuing a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in materials science and engineering. He is a Student Government representative and a senior office assistant with the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
