WRIGHT STATE THEATRE ANNOUNCES SEASON CHANGE

Ghostly moods and music will fill the theatre in next year's thriller musical, "Phantom", which has been slated to replace the previously announced "Rags". Written by acclaimed Broadway playwright, Arthur Kopit, and award-winning composer, Maury Yeston, this haunting musical is based on the novel "The Phantom Of The Opera" by Gaston Leroux.

"This is one of those magical moments in theatre," said W. Stuart McDowell, chair and artistic director.

"Phantom" will be presented on November 11-28, 1999 in the Festival Playhouse. Other 1999-2000 Season offerings include "You Can't Take It With You," "A Streetcar Named Desire," "Romeo and Juliet," and "A Chorus Line." For season subscription information, contact the Theatre Box Office at (937) 775-2500.
