Wright State University President Harley E. Flack Succumbs to Cancer. The fourth president of Wright State University, Dr. Harley E. Flack, died at 10 p.m., Sunday evening, March 29, 1998, at his home, surrounded by his family. Dr. Flack died of cancer. He had been on medical leave since Oct. 31, 1997, after he was diagnosed. Wright State Graduate Earns Top Score on Ohio CPA Exam. Danielle Rolfes, a June 1997 Wright State University graduate now employed by Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, had the top score in Ohio on the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam given in November. She scored 387 out of a possible 400 points on the exam. (3/19/98)

Hans-Dieter Sprohge, Ph.D., professor of accountancy at Wright State University, has been awarded the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). International students may make the leap toward improving their English skills by enrolling in the Wright LEAP program, a 10-week program in which students learn the language skills necessary for both the academic and professional worlds. Wright State Receives Honors at Model United Nations Conference. Wright State's student delegation was named "Best Delegation" at the fifth annual Dayton Model United Nations Conference held at Sinclair Community College. Contestants represented 12 universities and colleges from four states, including Indiana University, Ohio University, Ohio Northern University, University of Dayton, University of Pittsburgh, Wright State and Sinclair.
