October 11, 1999 WRIGHT STATE UNIVERSITY'S FOUNDATION BOARD The Wright State University Foundation Board of Trustees has announced its new officers and new board members for 1999-2000. Chairing the foundation will be Robert W. Nutter, managing partner of Nutter Enterprises. Other board officers are K. Douglas Deck, president and CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital and Health Center, vice chair; M. Christina Manchester, professional volunteer, secretary; and Jerome P. Sutton, retired director of the Acquisition Support Team, Air Force Materiel Command, treasurer.
New trustees include Michael DiFlora, senior vice president for engineering, Tecumseh Products; David Lower, vice president for marketing and sales, Southdown, Inc.; Christopher M. McAtee, CFO of the Brower Insurance Agency; and Malte vonMatthiesses, CEO of YSI, Inc.
The 25 board members of the Wright State University Foundation, Inc., represent a cross-section of Miami Valley business and community leaders. By networking with alumni and other constituencies, the foundation helps promote Wright State's mission and accomplishments. The foundation actively engages in fundraising to support University priority needs and manages gifts, bequests of money and property for the benefit of the university.
