WRIGHT STATE NAMES
STUDENT TRUSTEE

Euvondia Barto, a junior majoring in computer engineering at Wright State University, has been appointed to a two-year term as student trustee on the WSU Board of Trustees. Barto has also served as the student government representative for the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS).

Her other activities include membership on the CECS Dean's Steering Committee and acting as a coordinator for National Engineer's Week and as an instructor for engineering 101, a 150-student freshman orientation course. Barto has also been president of the Wright Engineering Council Student Activities Board and vice president of the Society of Women Engineers.

"I believe the knowledge gained from these types of experiences will allow me to better serve WSU as a student trustee," Barto said.

Barto is scheduled to graduate from Wright State in June 1999 with a B.S. in computer engineering and a minor in business administration. She was named to Alpha Lambda Delta, the freshman honor society, and has been on the dean's list. In 1996, Barto received the computer science and engineering department scholarship and the College of Engineering and Computer Science Dean's Award.
