The presidents of Wright State University, the University
of Dayton and Sinclair Community College announced the formation of the
Miami Valley Higher Education Coalition (MVHEC) at a press conference on
Jan. 10. Brother Raymond Fitz of UD, Sinclair's David Ponitz and Harley
Flack established the partnership wioth a cake cutting. The instiututions
will collaborate on ways to improve educational opportunities in the Miami
Valley. The partners also will work together on service-oriented issues
relating to family and children, technology, regional economic development
