How do I redeem my promo code?
New to Napster?
1.
Install the free Napster software by clicking on the Download Now button
provided to you when you received your promo code. If you didn't install
the software when you got the promo code, that's ok, simply click on
the "Sign up Now" link in WINGS; both your promo code and the Download
Now button will be displayed for you.
2. Follow instructions to register and enter promo code in the Napster
Card Number or Promo Code field.
3. Sign-in to Napster per the instructions.
Already have Napster?
If you have already downloaded Napster and/or you are already a Napster
member, but have never registered for the Napster University Subscription
service, your promo code will not be redeemable without creating a new
account. You can do this by following these easy steps:
1. If you do not have Napster installed on your computer, please follow
the instructions as though you are New to Napster.
2. If Napster is already installed, click HERE to begin your registration.
3. Please follow the instructions to register and enter your promo code in the Napster Card Number or Promo Code field *.
4. Sign-in to Napster using your newly created account per the instructions.
*Please note that you will NOT be able to use the same e-mail address
for both accounts. If you need to change the e-mail address, simply sign
in with your original username, click on the My Account menu on the
Napster client and select Member Information. Click on the Edit button
at the top and change your email address.
How do I know it worked?
You can verify your account status by Clicking on "My Account"
on the top menu bar and selecting "Account Status".
When I sign in to Napster, I get an error saying,
"We couldn't retrieve some of your account information. Please sign in again."
Signing in again does not work. What should I do?
Make sure the proxy server is not enabled in Internet Explorer when you are using
Napster. If this does not resolve the problem, contact Napster.
I registered and installed Napster,
however, I can't download songs or listen to songs longer than the standard 30 second clips.
There may be a problem with your registration. Contact Napster for assistance.
When I run Napster and click on
the Help Button nothing happens.
What's up with that?
If you have problems viewing some of the pages in Napster, it may be the result
of your pop-up blocker or ad blocker software, and possibly browser security settings.
Some Napster pages, like Help, appear in pop-ups.
