- Resident students receive the service without additional charge
- Non-resident students will need a credit card to sign up for the service at the discount rate
- Faculty/staff: You must be currently employed directly by the university
- Employees will need a credit card to sign up for the service at the discount rate
- Your CAMPUS login and password will be required
- Computer system must meet the minimum system requirements

- Operating System: Windows 2000, XP or Vista
- Processor: Pentium-class CPU equivalent
or better
- Hard drive: Approximately 13MB for Napster,
18MB for Windows Media
- Monitor: Napster can be viewed on a monitor
with a screen resolution of 800x600 or better
- Sound card: Sound card and speakers
- Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer version
5.01 or higher. IE 5.5 requires a service pack 1 or higher (IE 6.0 is
recommended)
- Browser: Firefox 1.5 and greater is also supported
- Digital Music Player: Windows Media Player
7.1 or higher (Windows Media Player 9 is recommended as it improves
streaming quality and reduces buffering times)
- Internet Connection: Active Internet connection
(broadband/192+ kbps is recommended) Note: Active connection is not
required at all times
- USB Port: A USB 2.0 port is recommended
if you are connecting a portable device, as it provides maximum transfer
rates

- Napster client is not currently available for Macintosh or Linux, but Mac owners
may be able to run Napster under Virtual PC, Parallels or Boot Camp.
