The network will not support streaming Streaming is a key feature of the service. Napster and WSU have installed a local streaming server at WSU to facilitate streaming. Although there might be some initial delays as the system is fine-tuned, there should be excellent service to all on-campus users as the system is implemented.
Songs cannot be burned onto CD Tracks that have been purchased ($0.99 each, or $9.95 for an album) can be burned onto CD.
Residence hall bandwidth limits will be greatly affected by this service A special Napster server will run on the local network. This server will contain 90% of the tracks requested by Napster users. As a result, most tracks will be available from within the Wright State network, and therefore, will not affect residence hall bandwidth limits.
Already downloaded tracks won't work in Napster They will work and are simple to load.
