Undergraduate Courses
The Department of Music offers undergraduate courses that fall into four areas:
- MUS: Music - music theory, music history, keyboarding, etc.
- MUA: Applied Music - private lessons in voice or on an instrument
- MUE: Music Ensembles - Winds Symphony, Collegiate Chorale, Saxophone Quartet, etc.

CST: Comparative Studies
CST 242 - Comparative Nonwestern Cultures: Music (Credit Hours: 4)
Introduction to the music and cultural diversity and uniqueness of selected areas of the globe. This course includes the study of indigenous folk music and instruments of Asia, India, Africa, North America, Central and Southeast Europe. This is a Writing Intensive course; CST 242W is the co- requisite.
