Laptops for Music Majors
A limited number of PC laptops (with Finale 2007 and SmartMusic) are available for sign-out (typically a 24-48 hour period) to WSU music majors to assist in music course related projects. Each laptop comes with the SmartMusic microphone, headphones, and a pair of USB powered external speakers. (IMPORTANT: Students must save their project to an external drive before powering off the laptop. WSU CaTS administered software called "DeepFreeze" will erase all files when the computer is shut-down. This software is necessary in order to protect the laptop from viruses and unauthorized downloads.) To sign out a laptop, contact Dr. Jagow at 775-2178 or shelley.jagow@wright.edu, and bring your Wright1 Card.
