Wade in the Water; He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands, This Little Light of Mine!

The Fisk Jubilee Singers will present an evening concert of African American Spirituals on February 10, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the Creative Arts Center at Wright State University.  The Jubilee Singers are recognized as the first performing ensemble to transform the African American spiritual to a concert art form.  Since 1871, The Jubilee Singers from Fisk University have continued to present concerts, workshops, educational programs and historic recordings to maintain one of African America’s most distinct cultural legacies.  Please come to the Creative Arts Center at Wright State University for a wonderful event on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.  Ticket prices are $8.00 to $12.00 each.
