Sharon H. Nelson, professor emeritus of music and former associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts, has served as an accompanist and an adjunct faculty member. Her responsibilities have included teaching applied piano, music education methods courses, and other undergraduate and graduate courses in music education. She has served as coordinator of music education and as director of graduate studies. Her undergraduate and doctoral degrees are from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music and a M.M.E. degree from Wright State.
