Tenor Vincent B. Davis has been a faculty member with Wright State University’s Music Department since 2003. He has degrees from Kentucky State University, Bowling Green State University and currently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts with the University of Kentucky’s School of Music.


Audiences of North America, Germany, and Italy have embraced his full- bodied lyric tenor in concert, opera, and oratorio. Mr. Davis made his operatic debut with the Theatre am Gœterplatz of Bremen Germany as Robbins in Porgy and Bess. Thereafter, he made appearances with the Alte Oper of Frankfurt Germany. Highlights of previous seasons include extensive recitals and concerts throughout Italy.


An established concert artist, Mr. Davis has also made appearances in Michigan, Pennslyvania, Tennessee, New York, Atlanta, and Indianapolis. His oratorio credits include Dubois’ Seven Last Words of Christ, Handel’s Messiah, and Haydn’s Creation. Upcoming performances include Belmonte in Mozart’s Die Antfürubg aus dem Serail in Consuma, Italy, and Bastien in Mozart’s Bastien und Bastienne.
