Thursday, November 22, 2012 WDPR and WDPG will broadcast the 15th annual Holidays in the Heartland, Wright State's annual musical celebration of Thanksgiving and Veteran's Day, on Thanksgiving, November 22 at 8:00 p.m. The 90 minute performance was recorded at the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton on November 4, 2012. The concert features some of the area's most outstanding student vocalists and instrumentalists, joined by guest performers and your host, Shaun Yu of Dayton Public Radio. Experience a grand and glorious panorama of America's musical heritage, including some of your favorite hymns, spirituals, gospels, patriotic songs, and much, much more. Plus, we will pay special tribute to our armed forces with the service songs of each military branch.
