David Nabb7:30pm Artist Series: David Nabb, saxophone*, with the Symphonic Band- Concert Hall, CAC

David Nabb performed as a professional musician, traveling throughout the United Staes and Europe - until a stroke completely paralyzed his left side. Undterred, he worked with Stelling Brass and Winds to develop a saxophone that can be played with only the right hand, and today, uses the unique instrument to teach as well as perform. Dr. Nabb will perform with the WSU Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Shelley Jagow. For more informaion on Dr. Nabb, go to to his web page.

One of Wright State University Department of Music's most popular events is back! As the name says, this year the focus is on celebrating America. The musicians of Wright State will perform pieces that stir a sense of patriotism in everyone. Celebrate America with the WSU choirs, faculty soloists and ensembles, and other special guests as Holidays in the Heartland returns for its eleventh year!
