The Wright State Concert Band is the newest ensemble at the University. It is composed of approximately fifty to sixty students and performs a variety of wind band literature.
Membership is open to all university students without audition, regardless of major. The group is composed of mainly non-music majors, but also gives music majors the opportunity to take a leadership role, or to further their skills on a secondary instrument.
The Concert Band rehearses from 4:10pm to 5:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays each quarter. The group performs a concert on campus each quarter and travels to local schools to give free concerts.
