For over 20 years, Mrs. Dorothy Smith taught voice lessons as a member of the faculty of the Department of Music. Join us in a musical performance celebrating the life of this outstanding and dedicated teacher and performer. All proceeds from the recital will go to the Dorothy Smith Endowed Scholarship in Vocal Music. |

Over 160 of the best high school voices in the region come together on the campus of Wright State University to rehearse, learn and perform under a nationally recognized choral conductor during the Mad River Vocal Arts Festival. Come to this concert, the culmination of a weekend dedicated to choral music. Tickets are available at the door for $5.00 each. |

Daniel Zehringer serves as head of the Trumpet studio, instructor of Freshman Theory, coordinator of the Faculty Brass Quintet, teaches courses in Brass Methods, and conducts the Wright State University Trumpet Ensemble. |

Dr. Herbert E. Dregalla, Jr., chair and professor of music has a broad background of training and experience in instrumental music and in music education. A native of Parma, Ohio, Dregalla taught in Ohio, New York, and at Nebraska Wesleyan University where he was department chair and director of bands before coming to Wright State. |

Jacob Cameron received his M.M. in Tuba Performance from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and his B.M. in Tuba Performance from Michigan State University. His primary teachers are David E. Kirk and Phil Sinder. |
