In addition to his work at Wright State, Associate Professor for clarinet, Randall Paul performs solo recitals throughout the country including the International Clarinet Association Convention, the Oklahoma Clarinet Symposium, The High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. His performance at Carnegie Hall received critical acclaim as, "...a dapper performance" in The New York Times.

7:30pm Guest Artist: Francesca Arnone, flute - Recital Hall, CAC

Francesca Arnone is Assistant Professor of Flute, Director of the WVU Flute Choir, and member of the Laureate Wind Quintet. For more information on Dr. Arnone, go to her bioography.

7:30pm Artist Series: Mitzi Meyerson, harpsichord*,
with the WSU Chamber Orchestra - Concert Hall, CAC

7:30pm The Dorothy Smith Celebration of Life* - Concert Hall, CAC

For over 20 years, Mrs. Dorothy Smith taught voice lessons as a member of the faculty of the Department of Music. Join us in a musical performance celebrating the life of this outstanding and dedicated teacher and performer. All proceeds from the recital will go to the Dorothy Smith Endowed Scholarship in Vocal Music.

6:00 Mad River Vocal Arts Festival Grand Finale Concert* - Apollo Room, Student Union

Over 160 of the best high school voices in the region come together on the campus of Wright State University to rehearse, learn and perform under a nationally recognized choral conductor during the Mad River Vocal Arts Festival. Come to this concert, the culmination of a weekend dedicated to choral music.

Tickets are available at the door for $5.00 each.

7:30pm Faculty Recital Series: Daniel Zehringer, trumpet - Concert Hall, CAC

Daniel Zehringer serves as head of the Trumpet studio, instructor of Freshman Theory, coordinator of the Faculty Brass Quintet, teaches courses in Brass Methods, and conducts the Wright State University Trumpet Ensemble.

3pm Faculty Recital Series: Herbert Dregalla, clarinet - Concert Hall, CAC

Dr. Herbert E. Dregalla, Jr., chair and professor of music has a broad background of training and experience in instrumental music and in music education. A native of Parma, Ohio, Dregalla taught in Ohio, New York, and at Nebraska Wesleyan University where he was department chair and director of bands before coming to Wright State.

Jacob Cameron received his M.M. in Tuba Performance from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and his B.M. in Tuba Performance from Michigan State University. His primary teachers are David E. Kirk and Phil Sinder.
