Dunbar Library, Paul Laurence

Completed in 1973 and dedicated in 1992, the Wright State University Library is named for the Dayton native and famed African-American poet. The Archives and Special Collections Department houses autographed first editions of Dunbar's poetry, the largest collection of Wright Brothers memorabilia, an African American Collection, early aviation history, and children's literature. The library basement houses the Center for Teaching and Learning.
