Health and Physical Education
Major
Through physical education, youth and adults learn the physical skills needed to perform daily work; train and condition to maintain health; and practice skills for leisure-time activities. Physical education careers can emphasize athletic training, coaching, and adapted physical education.
- The Physical Education program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Education degree and multi-age (Pre-K-12) Ohio teaching licensure.
- Jobs outside the education arena exist in community agencies such as the American Red Cross, YMCA, YWCA, hospitals, or municipal recreation departments.
