Environmental Health Sciences
Major/Minor
National concern over the quality of our environment has significantly increased over the last 15 years. The efforts of the environmental health profession are directed toward promoting a clean, safe, and healthful environment. The current and future career opportunities for students majoring in environmental health sciences are excellent, both regionally and nationwide.
- Wright State's Environmental Health Science programs is among only 24 programs in the United States that are accredited by the National Environmental Health and Protection Accreditation Council.
- A field internship, scheduled for the summer following the junior year, provides practical work experience in environmental health. During the senior year students may select from a variety of science electives and specialized health sciences courses according to their particular interests.
