Technical Program

 

The program sessions include 35 papers authored by US and international researchers, technology developers, educators and practitioners that address the diverse issues surrounding learning with disability and demonstrate the multidisciplinary nature of the search for their resolution.  Sessions will broadly focus on:

 

  • Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Learning with Disability
  • Human Centered Technology Concepts in LWD
  • Teaching and Accessible Curricula for LWD
  • Information Access and On-Line LWD
  • Learning with Communication Disabilities

 

All papers will appear in the conference proceedings which will be available during the event.

Registration

 

LWD-07 has received generous support from the National Science Foundation and Wright State University.  As a result, we have been able to limit the total conference cost to $50 per person (participant or guest), which will provide partial coverage of catering costs.  Continental breakfast, lunch and break refreshments will be provided at the conference on both days.  In addition, all conference participants and registered guests will receive dinner at the Thursday evening banquet  that will be held at the National Museum of the US Air Force.  All conference participants will receive a copy of the conference proceedings.  You may register using on-line registration or by downloading the form and send by mail, fax or email.

Transportation During the Conference
