In addition to its Leadership Team, the LEADER Consortium is working to develop other consortium- and institutional-level committees to help ensure project objectives are met with success. Committees constituted thus far include the Council and four Internal Steering Committees. As additional committees are formed, they will be added to this list.
Council
The role of the Council is to provide oversight over all aspects of the Consortium, including developing Consortium-level intentional structures and setting benchmarks for success. Members of the Council include senior-level administrators (associate provost or above) with institutional oversight for equity, institutional coordinators, chairs of institutional steering committees, and members of the leadership team, the latter who serve as ex-officio members.

Internal Steering Committees
There are four internal steering committees in the LEADER Consortium, one per consortium institution. The role of each institutional steering committee is to help their institution achieve LEADER objectives targeted to faculty work life.
Members of these steering committees include deans and department chairs, who often establish modes of operation, ranging from hiring practices to standards of promotion, assignment of space, inclusivity of departmental discussions, and more.
Other contributing members include leadership team members, equity advisors, directors and/or staff members of various university offices, including women centers, affirmative action, human resources, and research sponsored programs.
