Heidi Ries Named a Ten Top Woman

Leadership team member Heidi Ries was named a 2009 Ten Top Woman by the Dayton Daily News. Heidi serves as the Institutional Coordinator for the Air Force Institute of Technology where she is the Dean for Research.

Annually since 1962, the Dayton Daily News has recognized outstanding women in the Miami Valley who have made significant contributions through service to their community and their professions. Nominated by colleague Adedeji Badiru, Heidi has “improved the educational and research environment for thousands of students and hundreds of faculty.”

Heidi joins an elite list of Miami Valley women who have been honored with this prestigious award and was recognized at the 47th Ten Top Women luncheon event that was held on December 1, 2009. Congratulations, Heidi!
