The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) has been committed to the success of the Lake Campus and its students for over three decades and demonstrates this commitment through vast scholarship offerings.
WOEF scholarships are available for undergraduate new, current, returning and transfer students who attend the Lake Campus and enroll for the required credit hours. Application packets for these scholarships are available after January 1 each year for the scholarships to be disbursed in the fall of the next academic year. The application deadline is MARCH 1. All sections of the application packet must be received by this deadline to be considered for an award. Application packets are now available online in PDF format (see below), in the Lake Campus WOEF Scholarship Office or at your high school counselor’s office. GOOD LUCK!

The Crown Equipment Scholarship
Awarded to one senior graduating from New Bremen High School who is ranked in the upper 50% of his/her class and has pursued a college preparatory curriculum. Recipient must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus; Full tuition, renewable up to three (3) years at discretion of Crown Equipment Personnel Department. Payable over three (3) quarters. One (1) awarded.

Awarded to one senior graduating from an Auglaize, Darke, Mercer, or Shelby County high school in the upper 50% of his/her class who has pursued a college preparatory curriculum. Pax Machine Works Scholarship
Awarded to one senior graduating from a Mercer County high school or any son or daughter of a Pax Machine Works employee who has pursued a college preparatory curriculum and achieved a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. The recipient must enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus, major in business or engineering and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. To receive the second year award, a recipient must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA at the end of the first academic year; $3,000, 1st year, renewable second year. Payable over three (3) quarters. One (1) awarded.

Academic Excellence Scholarships
Awarded to one senior graduating from each Auglaize, Mercer and Van Wert County high school and one senior graduating from each of the following Allen and Darke County high schools: Delphos Jefferson, Delphos St. John's, Spencerville, Ansonia, Greenville, Mississinawa Valley, and Versailles. Recipients must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus. To receive each disbursement of the first year and to be eligible to receive the second year award, recipients must maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA; $3,000, 1st year, renewable for $1,000, 2nd year, payable over three (3) quarters. One (1) awarded per high school.

Recipient must enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus; $2,500, one time, payable over three (3) quarters. One (1) awarded.

Awarded to one graduating senior from St. Marys Memorial High School or to a graduating senior from any high school who is the son or daughter of an AAP employee. Recipient must enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus; $1,000, one time, payable over three (3) quarters. One (1) awarded.

Mercer Savings Bank Scholarship
Awarded to one graduating senior from a Mercer, Auglaize or Darke County high school who has pursued a college preparatory curriculum and has a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Recipient must enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus; $1,000, one time, payable over three (3) quarters. One (1) awarded.

Tech Prep Scholarships - Apollo Career Center, Tri-Star Career Compact, Vantage Career Center, Upper Valley JVS at Piqua, or the Miami Valley Career Tech Center
Awarded to graduating seniors from a Mercer, Auglaize, Darke or Van Wert County high school that is currently enrolled in the Tech Prep program at the Apollo Career Center, Tri-Star Career Compact, Vantage Career Center, Upper Valley JVS at Piqua, or the Miami Valley Career Tech Center. Recipients must complete the high school requirements of the Tech Prep program and provide documentation. Recipients must enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus; $1,000, one time, payable over three (3) quarters. Three (3) awarded.

Awarded to St. Marys area residents who have achieved sophomore status of 45 or more credit hours and are currently attending the Lake Campus. Office Information Systems (OIS) Program Scholarships
Awarded to entering, returning, current or transfer students who are pursuing an associate degree in the Office Information Systems (OIS) program. Recipients must enroll for at least six (6) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus; $500 each, one time, payable over three (3) quarters. Two (2) awarded.

St. Marys Kiwanis Book Scholarships
Awarded to all St. Marys Memorial High School graduating seniors who choose to attend the Lake Campus. The WOEF Board will match the Kiwanis $100 award for a combined $200 book voucher, one time. Number of awards will vary. No application required. **Must graduate from Memorial High School in award year.**

Roland & Agnes Clausing Loan Fund
Available to entering, current, returning, or transfer students who are graduates of St. Marys Memorial High School, have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and register at least six (6) credit hours each quarter. Preference will be given to students who are pursuing a two-year technical program. Technical programs include: Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, Financial Management Technology, and Office Information Systems. Repayment begins nine (9) months after the educational goal is completed, or after recipient no longer attends the Lake Campus. Recipients are allowed up to three (3) years to repay.Up to $2,000. Requires a separate application available at the Lake Campus Office of Financial Aid.
Shelby County Loan Fund
Available to Shelby County entering, current, returning, or transfer students who have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and register at least six (6) credit hours each quarter. Preference will be given to students who are pursuing a two-year technical program. Technical programs include: Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, Financial Management Technology, and Office Information Systems. Repayment begins nine (9) months after the educational goal is reached, or after recipient no longer attends the Lake Campus. Recipients allowed up to three (3) years to repay. Up to $500. WOEF Matching Scholarships
WOEF Foundation funds are used to match scholarships awarded by sixteen area non-profit organizations and foundations for recipients who attend the Lake Campus.
