The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) has been committed to the success of the Lake Campus and its students for over three decades and demonstrates this commitment through vast scholarship offerings.
WOEF scholarships are available for undergraduate, new, current, returning and transfer students who attend the Lake Campus and enroll for the required credit hours. Application packets for these scholarships are available after January 1of each year for the scholarships to be disbursed in the fall of the next academic year. The application deadline is March 1. All sections of the application packet must be received by this deadline to be considered for an award.

The Crown Equipment Scholarship
Awarded to one senior graduating from an Auglaize, Darke, Mercer, or Shelby County high school in the upper 50% of his/her class who has pursued a college preparatory curriculum. Recipient must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus; Full tuition, renewable up to three (3) years at discretion of Crown Equipment Personnel Department, payable over three (3) quarters. Pax Machine Works Scholarship
Awarded to one senior graduating from a Mercer County high school or any son or daughter of a Pax Machine Works employee who has pursued a college preparatory curriculum and achieved a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. The recipient must enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus, major in business or engineering and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. To receive the second year award, a recipient must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA at the end of the first academic year; $3,000, 1st year, renewable second year. Payable over three (3) quarters. Academic Excellence Scholarships
Awarded to one senior graduating from each Auglaize, Mercer and Van Wert County high school and one senior graduating from each of the following Allen and Darke County high schools: Delphos Jefferson, Delphos St. John's, Spencerville, Ansonia, Greenville, Mississinawa Valley, and Versailles. Recipients must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and enroll for at least twelve (12) credit hours each quarter of the academic year at the Lake Campus. To receive each disbursement of the first year and to be eligible to receive the second year award, recipients must maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA; $3,000, 1st year, renewable for $1,000, 2nd year, payable over three (3) quarters. Available to entering, current, returning, or transfer students who are graduates of St. Marys Memorial High School, have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and register at least six (6) credit hours each quarter. Preference will be given to students who are pursuing a two-year technical program. Technical programs include: Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, Financial Management Technology, and Office Information Systems. Repayment begins nine (9) months after the educational goal is completed, or after recipient no longer attends the Lake Campus. Recipients are allowed up to three (3) years to repay.Up to $2,000. Requires a separate application available at the Lake Campus Office of Scholarships.
Shelby County Loan Fund
Available to Shelby County entering, current, returning, or transfer students who have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and register at least six (6) credit hours each quarter. Preference will be given to students who are pursuing a two-year technical program.
