WINGS (Wright Information, News, and Group Services)

The Essentials tab gives students specific information on how to use Wright State Email, the official method of communication to students.

WINGS Express

Through WINGS Express, students can register, order textbooks from the bookstore, check grades and track degree progress through the DARS degree audit system.  Due to confidentiality laws, Wright State is unable to provide you with information about your student’s course schedules, grades and other academic information without written permission of your student or demonstration of dependency status (see Privacy Forms).

Through WINGS Express, your student may also set a parent or other person up as an authorized user to view the tuition account and pay fees.  Details of this process are also available in the Tuition and Fees section of this site.

After your student completes the Parent/Authorized User access request, a notice will be sent to the email address your student used to establish you as an authorized user.  Parents/Authorized Users can login through the Office of the Bursar home page.

Once in WINGS Express, click on Info for Parents and Authorized Users, then click on Access Student Account Login, which will take you to to online billing site. Parents/Authorized Users may then login by using their e-mail address and password, which was provided to you via e-mail.  At this site, you can select “E-bills” to view the most recent or prior months’ statements, click “Current Activity” to view current charges and payments, and select “Make a Payment” to pay account charges on your student’s behalf.  For more information, view the Bursar/Billing information in the WINGS Resource Center and select “Signing in as an Authorized User”.
