Orientation is an introduction to life and learning at Wright State University. Pre-registration is required. Here's the info you need to know BEFORE registering for the event.
Orientation is required
All students under the age 23 who have never attended college are required to attend Orientation. If you have 24 or more credit hours, please contact Student Services at 419-586-0300 to make an appointment with an academic advisor.
Don't forget your placements tests
Our placement testing policy has changed for Fall 2014. Click here to determine if you need to take placement testing (document coming soon).
Students in the Post-Secondary Enrollment Option Program (PSEO)
If you have earned college credits through the PSEO, you will still need to attend Orientation.
Pre-service interview for students with disabilities
Don't forget to contact the Technology, Academic/Instructional Programs, and Services (TAPS) department to schedule your pre-service interview. The pre-service interview is designed to assess disability-related needs and to plan services accordingly. Students are encouraged to contact the TAPS department well in advance (at least six months, if possible) of their planned entry date. You can reach the Center for Independent Achievement Department at 419-586-0326.
Parents, spouse, or other family members welcome!
Your parents or other family members are encouraged to come along with you, as they are an important part of most students' support system.
