Get Ready!

You know that there is a ton of info out there on what to do to prepare for college, but there are some things you absolutely must get done before starting classes at Wright State University–Lake Campus this fall.

So here’s the deal: we’re not going to waste your time.

More on the 8 essentials: make sure these are done and you'll be on your way!

• Set up your WSU email account ASAP. Details were included in your letter of acceptance.
• Submit the FAFSA—priority deadline is Feb. 15. Miss the deadline? You can still apply for financial aid! Contact Gretchen Rentz, student services coordinator, at (419) 586-0336 or email gretchen.rentz@wright.edu.
• Register for Orientation ASAP
• Attend Orientation, where you’ll learn how to register for classes.
• Complete your placement tests during Orientation.
• Pay fall ’08 fees by Aug. 20 to the Office of the Bursar.
• Come to the Student Employment Job Fair at Lake Campus in September (day and time TBD). Bring your fall quarter class schedule. If you qualify for Federal Work Study, bring your financial aid award letter as well.
• Welcome Week activities take place the week of September 8.

Orientation is required for all new students who have never attended college.

• Tues., July 8 at 3:30 p.m.

• Sat., Aug. 23 at 9 a.m.
• Tues., Sept. 2 at 6 p.m.
