TECHNICAL STUDY MANAGEMENT OPTION
Associate of Technical Study A.T.S.
The Associate of Technical Study: Management Option degree is intended to prepare students for a variety of employment settings that are involved with supervision and administration in a service setting. The degree is intended for students to seek employment following completion of the program.
Students who intend to pursue a four-year baccalaureate degree are advised to consider the Business and Administration Associate of Science degree. This degree includes the General Education module required for students to transition into a four-year degree program.

Admission Information:
Advising is a KEY component of this degree.
A minimum of 48 credit hours of the total program must be in a clearly identifiable area of concentration. General Education requirements and basic requirements must each account for a minimum of 21 credit hours of the program total or 42 total credit hours. Prerequisites may need to be completed prior to enrolling in the selected course(s). The Associate of Technical Study Degree requires a minimum of 93 credit hours; graduation requirements are the same as for other A.A.S. and A.A.B. degrees.
Other Information:
Students will take a series of technical classes and general education skills classes. Additional classes include writing skills improvement, computer literacy, and liberal arts classes. There is an emphasis on communication skills in business settings and in public speaking. The technical courses in the program have a core of management and business-related classes.
