  • Community Director (CD) for the complex - A CD is a full time professional who's been specially selected and trained to assist you in your adjustment to college, be a support for you, help you with conflicts, provide educational opportunities and social activities, and be a resource.
  • Apartment Standards - Your apartment decides how you'll treat each other and hold each other accountable for the standards you set.
  • Educational Workshops - You'll plan and/or attend educational workshops with your Community Director.
  • Social Activities - Many of these are planned so you can take some time to get to know your fellow community members in between all that studying!

Eligibility: Must be a registered student at WSU Lake Campus.

  • Fully furnished townhouse apartments with a lake view. Includes a full kitchen (with dishwasher, refrigerator, oven/stove and microwave), living room, multiple bathrooms, dining area, and bedrooms.  Other features include, Air Conditioning, Cable TV, High speed, Internet Connections (wired and wireless), and a Telephone Landline.  Residents are encouraged to bring traditional telephones for the apartment, as a back up to personal cell phones.

Spacious and comfortable four and five bedroom, multiple-bath apartments are offered at Knapke Villa Apartments. Nestled in a beautiful area of campus near Grand Lake St. Marys, Knapke Villa offers sand volleyball courts, a beach, horseshoe pits, the use of the YMCA facilities and picnic areas. Students, with either a single or double occupancy bedroom, will enjoy these roomy apartments. These apartments are offered fully furnished with a bed, desk, drawer, and closet per student. In addition, each unit has carpet, a dishwasher, oven/stove, and full sized refrigerator. Semester rent includes cable and trash removal. Also, each room is equipped with an Ethernet hook-up for students to connect to Wright State University's Local Access Network from their room. All buildings are co-ed, and apartments are single gender.


Contracts for Knapke Villa are for two semesters, beginning in September, and ending in June. You must be an admitted student to sign an agreement for a campus apartment.
