Educational and Counseling Assistance for New and Existing Businesses

The Business Enterprise Center at Wright State University-Lake Campus provides free, comprehensive counseling and management training to new and existing small businesses.

The goals of the BEC are the following:

• integrate business training and business development in West Central Ohio
• provide comprehensive short and long-term training to new and existing businesses
• promote and support assistance from Center volunteers in specific areas pertaining to all aspects of business operations
• direct and assist special project groups or agencies within the Center's service area of Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert Counties.

Information obtained while assisting a small business will remain confidential.

Through the Ohio Board of Regents, customized business and industry training can be partially paid for by Targeted Industry Grants from the state of Ohio. Please contact Julie Miller for more information. The BEC at the Lake Campus participates as an Enterprise Ohio Network campus.
