Wright State University-Lake Campus's Men’s Baseball Program is coming off a successful second season in existence, as we finished 18-10 overall, including 4 straight tournament victories to capture the Lakers first-ever ORCC Championship!
The Lakers are looking to build upon that success entering into the 2014 season. The Lake Campus baseball team competes in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference (ORCC), comprised of equivilent regional universities based in the State of Ohio. Our program will follow the rules and guidelines set forth by the ORCC. Our baseball players are expected to have a strong emphasis on academics as well as athletics, with the primary goal to be selected to the ORCC All-Academic Team, compiled quarterly and consisting of student athletes who have carried at least 12 credit hours and earned a minimum GPA of 3.0 while participating in their sport.
Wright State Lake Campus offers a variety of college courses of study and a friendly environment, allowing all students the opportunity to receive a quality education. Students can commute from home or may choose to live on campus in our newly constructed campus housing, located just off the banks of Grand Lake St. Marys. Lake Campus simply offers a quality education at an affordable price.
Entering into our third season, expectations remain high and we are working hard to compete at the highest level possible. We have assembled a roster of talented players from around the region and will continue to attract quality student athletes into the future. We are constantly in search of quality players who are looking to take their game to the next level. If you are interested in what it takes to compete as this level and looking to become part of the Lakers Baseball family, complete the athletic quesionnaire (see button below) and submit it for consideration. We will contact you once this completed quesionnaire has been received and reviewed.
