Admission Petition Process

You must petition for admission to WSU if the following conditions apply to you:
- You are a transfer student and you have less than a 2.0 cumulative grade point average, on a 4.0 scale, from the last institution at which you attempted 12 quarter or 9 semester hours. If you were dismissed or suspended, you are ineligible to apply for admission until one calendar year after the dismissal or suspension.

- You are a returning student who was dismissed from WSU and has completed the four-quarter dismissal period or you have less than a 2.0 gpa from a college/university since last enrolled at WSU. See section above.

- You are a returning student with less than a 2.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) from the last accredited college you attended (since leaving Wright State), where at least 12 quarter (9 semester) hours were attempted.

To petition for admission, submit all application materials and an Admissions Petition Form by these deadlines:
Fall quarter: August 1
Winter quarter: December 1
Spring quarter: March 1
Summer quarter: May 1
