Returning Students are those who have attended Wright State as degree students but have not registered in the past four quarters.

How to Apply For Admission
Complete and submit the following to:
Wright State University
Office of Admissions
3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy.
Dayton, OH 45435-0001

1. Undergraduate Application (Print the form, complete, then mail.) NOTE: Returning students should NOT apply online, or you will be charged a $30 application fee.

2. Official transcripts from each university or college attended since last enrolled at Wright State.

3. Admissions Petition Form - Required of students as listed in Admissions Petition Information. NOTE: A student who has not attended any college or university (including WSU) for 5 years does not need to petition.

Additional Information
The college or office to which you are admitted evaluates your transfer credit and determines what is appropriate transfer credit for your particular program. For an evaluation of your transfer credit, call the appropriate college to arrange an appointment.

University College provides a starting place for adults age 25 and older who are beginning or re-entering college and for students transferring to Wright State. As a returning student, you may have special needs that this office can address to help you make a successful transition to Wright State.



Selective Service
Attention Male Students: A law passed by the Ohio Assembly requires state universities to charge nonresident fees to male (Ohio) students who have not registered with the Selective Service. In addition, Selective Service registration is linked to many federal and state benefits, including eligibility for federal student loans and grants.

Federal law requires virtually all men to register with Selective Service within 30 days of turning 18. Males who have not registered with the Selective Service may register online at the Selective Service System website or go to any U.S. Post Office.

If you have registered but have lost your Selective Service number, call the Selective Service System at (708) 688-6888 between 8:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Monday through Friday A duplicate card will be sent within 10 days. For additional information, go to the Selective Service System web site.
