Tuition cost for the Lake Campus is among the lowest in the state! As a regional campus of Wright State University, we work diligently to keep our university accessible and affordable.

In fact, when you compare tuition, housing and meal plan costs to other schools, you can save up to $20,000 if you take your general education courses or earn your associate degree at the Lake Campus.  Moving on to a bachelor's program at WSU in Dayton, OH is an easy transition.

Indiana Tuition Reciprocity Information


Under this agreement, Wright State University agrees to accept at Ohio resident tuition rates, any resident of the following counties of Indiana (listed on the right) who enrolls and who satisfies all regular admission requirements (including those requirements of the specific course or program in which admission is sought).

This agreement is in effect July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 and may be renewed. Students who qualify for in-state tuition under this reciprocity agreement who remain actively enrolled at Wright State while completing their academic program will continue at the in-state tuition rate, even if the agreement expires.

To be considered for the in-state tuition rate, an Indiana student must:

  • Be a legal resident of one of the counties listed to the right.
  • Satisfy admission requirements and be officially admitted to Wright State University.
  • Complete the Request For In-state Tuition Status for Indiana Residents form and submit it to the Office of the Registrar at Wright State.
  • Provide any documentation to help prove IN resident status, if requested.
  • Be approved for in-state tuition before the first day of the term of application. Late applications will be considered for future quarters.
  • To request in-state tuition, go to the Request For In-state Tuition Status for Indiana Residents form. If you have additional questions or need more information please contact the Office of the Registrar at 419-586-0324.

    Scholarship Opportunities


    Lake Campus students get to take advantage of a unique situation for scholarships.  Lake Campus students are eligible for both Wright State University Academic Performance Scholarships along with our own Lake Campus Scholarships.

    Academic Performance Scholarships – based on high school GPA, class rank, ACT or SAT scores; these are awarded from the admission applications received by February 15.  You do not need to complete an additional application.

    Lake Campus Scholarships – The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) Board has been committed to the success of the Lake Campus and its students for over three decades and demonstrates this commitment through vast scholarship offerings.  WOEF scholarships are available for undergraduate, new, current, returning and transfer students who attend the Lake Campus.  These scholarships range from a couple hundred dollars in book scholarships to full-tuition.  Requirements for the scholarships vary, but you only have to fill out one application.     Financial Aid


    Wright State works with you to secure the financial resources needed to make education affordable.  WSU offers grants, loans, and Federal Work-Study Program opportunities through federal, state, university, and private sources.

    The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online at fafsa.ed.gov, after January 1.  To get started, go to pin.ed.gov to request a PIN number.  Wright State's Title IV school code is 003078.

    The priority deadline to apply for financial aid is February 15.
