Traveling from Outside the United States

Please visit the International Visitors Office of the National Academies Web site to view a list of Visa Waiver Program (VWEP) countries and to determine if you need a visa to enter the United States. It is recommended that visa applicants apply at least three months in advance of travel.




Travel by Air

Air Transportation is available via the Dayton International Airport located just north of Dayton proper. Please visit the link below:

Driving Directions

From the North (Dayton International Airport)
I-70 east to I-675 south
I-675 south to North Fairfield Road (Exit 17)
Turn right on North Fairfield Road, travel approximately 1/2 mile to Colonel Glenn Highway
Turn left on Colonel Glenn Highway
Turn right at the second traffic light onto University Blvd.
Follow the signs to the Visitor's Parking Lot

From the Northeast (Columbus area)
I-70 west to I-675 south
I-675 south to North Fairfield Road (Exit 17)
Turn right on North Fairfield Road, travel approximately 1/2 mile to Colonel Glenn Highway
Turn left on Colonel Glenn Highway
Turn right at the second traffic light onto University Blvd.
Follow the signs to the Visitor's Parking Lot

From the South (Cincinnati area)
I-75 north to I-675 north
I-675 north to North Fairfield Road (Exit 17). Follow sign for North Fairfield Road (not WSU)
Turn left on North Fairfield Road, travel approximately 1/2 mile to Colonel Glenn Highway
Turn left on Colonel Glenn Highway
Turn right at the second traffic light onto University Blvd.
Follow the signs to the Visitor's Parking Lot

Campus Parking

The hotels are just south of campus across Colonel Glenn Highway. Enter the campus on University Boulevard. Proceed to Visitor Parking Lot #2. Let the attendant know that you are attending the International Symposium on Aviation Psychology at the Student Union. The attendant will direct you where to park. Please note that although parking is free, parking spaces may be difficult to find when classes are in session.
